• FRONT & BACK WHEELSET

The WAKE 6560 is a wheel set of variable depth, with a maximum / minimum depth of 65 and 60mm.

This oscillating sinusoidal shape conveys the aerodynamic advantages of a deep 65mm rim with the enhanced stability of a shallower rim.

This is achieved by reducing buffeting as the trailing edge is continuously changing, which leads to a more aerodynamic wheel with improved stability.

The WAKE are notably faster than all the commonly used aero wheelsets and are particularly fast at lower (normal) yaw angles up to around 10o and the results of Wind Tunnel tests demonstrate the lowest overall drag figure for the Princeton wheels (PCW), with the considerably deeper Zipp 858 and the HED Jet 9+ the closest rivals.

More than that though, they are also lighter and stronger.

Their shape yields structural advantages too.

The wheel is stronger because each nipple is positioned at the highest point of the oscillation and so requires less carbon fibre in construction. In turn this results in a reduction in overall weight while still maintaining critical stiffness.

The WAKE are tubeless-ready and employ a holeless rim bed which does away with the need for tape - so less fuss all round.

That said, this is a secondary benefit as the holeless rim bed is primarily used to help reduce weight and increase stiffness as mentioned.

Strada internal hook to hook width stands at 20.5mm.

All 6560s have identical front and rear rim profiles featuring a revolutionary shaped rim varying between 60 and 65mm deep.

Full carbon and tubeless ready, the rim is laced with Sapim CX-Ray aero spokes fitted to DT Swiss 180 hubs, and are in Disc brake version.

The CX-Ray aero spoke combines excellent aerodynamics with low weight and great strength.

Sapims cold forged aero spokes are used by professional road racers, triathletes and even downhill racers all around the world. Not only are they more aerodynamic, they also make wheels lighter and stronger. The CX-Ray fits easily into standard hubs.

The ends have a diameter of 2 mm and the aero section measures 0,9x2,2 mm.

The premium 180 hub convinces with its sophisticated Ratchet EXP technology giving the hub extra lightness, stiffness, precision and an easy no-tool maintenance.

The warranty is not applicable to damage to the product caused by a crash, impact, or abuse of the product.

The warranty is not applicable when the product has been modified.

The warranty is not valid on wheels used for commercial (rental) purposes.

The warranty is not applicable to normal wear and tear.

Particular parts are subject to degradation as a result of normal use and this damage is not covered by the warranty.

These parts include (but are not limited to) bearings, nipples and brake tracks if aplicable.
